01
A Star Beside Clifton Hill
Casino Niagara stands at 5705 Falls Ave, Niagara Falls, ON L2E 6T3, beside Clifton Hill. It opened on December 9, 1996, as the second casino in Ontario. The room was first planned as a temporary facility pending Fallsview.
Under Ontario's model, land-based casinos are conducted and managed by OLG, with day-to-day operations contracted to private service providers. Here that provider is Mohegan, and the casino is governed by OLG. Mohegan has run day-to-day gaming at Casino Niagara and Fallsview Casino Resort since 2019, with OLG as owner providing oversight. In this guide's sky, Casino Niagara is one of the stars of the Hamilton and Niagara constellation.
